Collins 3 Rules for Effective Teams

Effect Team Building

Jim Collins, management guru and writer of Good to Great, says that great teams have three things in common:

  1. They tell the truth – regardless of hurt feelings, bruised egos or painful realities
  2. They learn and move on – they don’t assign blame or shame to the guilty
  3. At the end of the day (or meeting) they are all united and on the same team

That’s something we can all learn from.
