What Are Your Key Activities

In your business, there are a few things that you do (your key activities) that account for most of your results.  What are those things for you?

When I was in sales years ago, my key activities were:

  1. Prospecting for new business
  2. Pitching interested prospects
  3. Training customers in using our systems

I did 1000 other things, but those other 1000 things yielded very minimal results.  Only when I focused on one of my three key activities did I make serious headway.

What are your key activities?  Write them down.  How much time each day are you disciplining yourself to close your door and perform your key activities?  Keep a time log.

Performing your key activities is where success at work lies.
