Is Atomic Habits worth reading?

To begin with, Clear’s writing teaches people how to create better habits, make better decisions, and live better lives. He combines ideas from a wide range of disciplines, including biology, neuroscience, psychology, philosophy, and more.

“But James doesn’t merely report the research of others. He tries out the concepts for himself as he experiments with building better habits as an entrepreneur, writer, and weightlifter,” reads his bio at Premier Speaker Bureau.

I have had to read a lot in order to write weekly articles for the last 5 or 6 years. As a result, I have a pretty solid backlog of reading and research material, “Clear said in an interview.

Also, one review states that his work is a colorful mix of inspirational narratives, academic science, and hard-won wisdom, with one-third storytelling.

Furthermore, many readers have attested to improvements in their personal and professional life as a result of reading the book. The following are some evaluations and responses to inquiries regarding the finest productivity books that speak volumes about the value of reading ‘Atomic Habits.’

Alexweic, Reddit user

“Highly recommend reading the book Atomic Habits‘, it‘s one of the best productivity books I’ve read to date. There are a lot of great books on productivity: The ONE Thing‘, The Productivity Project‘, The Compound Effect‘, etc. I’d add Atomic Habits to that reading list as well.”

Tom Belskie, Medium

“... it is well worth reading cover-to-cover as it is chock full of useful and actionable information about habits, from how and why we form them to how to break them and make them.”

Mark. B. Howell (PhD), Quora.

About once a year, I’ll read a book that is so useful as to change my outlook on life where I start implementing the advice for immediate benefits. Atomic Habits is that book for me this year. I read it just over a month ago and have already experienced positive results from the book’s application.”

Anita Gupta, Quora

“The book is the talk of the town and simply everywhere: book shops, social media, blogs, YouTube. There are even Twitter spaces being hosted just to discuss the lessons taught in this book. The book is easy and lightweight. You can finish reading it within a day’s work or perhaps the weekend. ”

“As long as someone is able to implement the ideas I share to get the results they want, then I feel like I’ve done my part to make the world a slightly better place”, Clear said in an interview.

In a nutshell, Atomic Habits is an excellent resource for learning how to create positive habits and break negative ones. The book emphasizes the need to change one habit at a time in order to better one’s work and personal life. By eliminating ineffective habits and creating productive ones, you can create the subtle adjustments that add up to big results.

The PLI program was invaluable to our network.
The range of topics delivered, the open dialogue, experience, and examples that PLI brought to each session were outstanding and provided a path for our Franchisees and Managers to look at leadership, coaching, and connecting with their teams in a new light. Many have implemented these strategies in their bakeries and have seen immediate results.

Highly recommend to help your team move forward
We have locations around BC and Alberta, so getting people on the same page can be very difficult... Until now. Our entire management team and location managers take the same great courses and then meet monthly online with our coach to apply it to our situation. People are engaged, the courses are excellent, we love our coach, and we are all learning together!

Our culture has taken major steps forward this year with Trevor’s help.  He is funny, relatable, and his tools are very very practical and have helped us focus and upgrade our teams throughout our retail network.
